California based skateboard deck producers had a different take on skate culture that was surrounding them at the time of their conception in 1990.
Their film Memory Screen was a great example of Alien Workshop's vision and included a mix of skate imagery and footage with plenty of non-skate footage. It was a love hate thing with this movie, but arguably a pivotal moment in the things to come across the whole of the industry.
Alien Workshop is the company that turned Rob Dyrdek and Duane Pitre pro back in 1992.
