Fucking Awesome, or FA, for short, was initially founded by Jason Dill in the early 2000s and was sold in the Supreme store in NYC. This quickly elevated the brand’s profile and even had the likes of Mr West donning the gear. Due to the popularity of the brand, Dill took a step back, putting FA on pause, but during this time fell into a dark place with heavy drug use and partying. Eventually, he moved back to California and in 2013 with the help of good friend, Anthony Van Engelen, Fucking Awesome was reborn.

We’ve been a massive fan of FA for some time. A good chunk of WCH staff have either skated in the past or still skate today, so there’s always been love for the brand and the incredible skateboarders who’ve been a part of the FA team. The foundations of WCH are deeply rooted in skateboarding and skate culture, so brands like FA resonate well with us.

Kicking the summer off with our first instalment, we’ve got a range of tees, sweats and hats to give you guys a little taste of what’s yet to come. I associate FA with front print graphic tees, especially in the brand’s classic logo script style, much like the Sam Hill T Shirt.

We went for two slightly different graphics to the one mentioned above because even though this might be a brand staple, we make up the rules here.

Tom was wearing the Shinjuku T Shirt in White in XL. This is probably my favourite graphic from the collection! This tee is made from soft, mid-weight 100% cotton and features a ribbed crewneck, straight hem and a large cartoon-style square graphic to the front. Finishing this off was a Mechanics Hat in Black.

I opted for the 14th Century T Shirt in Black in L. This tee features graphic prints on the chest and rear. Just like the above tee, this style is also made from soft, mid-weight 100% cotton. Finishing this look off was the Seduction Of The World Cap in Forest.

We find that FA tees fit a little slimmer in the body but perhaps a touch longer than most other brands. I’d still go for your usual tee size!

We’re super excited to be working with the guys at FA and can’t wait to get the next few seasons in! You’re in for a treat.

Fucking Awesome is available both in-store at our Ulverston HQ and online.
