Focusing on mountain sports, Salomon began in 1947, initially making ski bindings before jumping into their own skis and snowboards, alpine boots and trail shoes. Proper techy, they’re full of performance and their Sportstyle and LAB silhouettes look the business.
We took a couple of Salomon’s XT-6 trainers on a hike to soak up the last of the sunshine. For some reason we decided to wear pants and jackets. We’ve fully jumped into the autumn spirit, ignoring the fact that it’s still 18°C. The shoes, fantastic, the state of us after we got to the top, less so.
One hike isn’t enough to get the full experience of a Salomon shoe – keep your eyes peeled, more to come.
