First of all, that’s the name of the children’s Christmas book we’re bringing out. Don’t buy it, it’s awful.

Secondly, as the Lakes is getting pummeled by snowfall which swiftly transitions to powdered ice, we thought we’d slide our way up one of the peaks on the east side of Coniston Water and dance with frostbite.

Thankfully, we had the latest Holiday drop from Australian skatewear label Butter Goods to layer up with. A fun juxtaposition, an Aussie brand gearing us up with heavyweight sweats, climbing pants and knitwear, but we’re more than grateful.

The collection also includes ample graphicwear, though Butter’s one short coming is that they don’t make 650-fill-power mountain parkas – fair enough, really. However, Battenwear do.

The New York-based outerwear matches Butter with a lovely line of tees, sweats and headwear, however the piece we really care about is their Batten-Down, an uber-cosy jacket which can only be described as an absolute unit.

It was -4°C, not ideal of staying out too long.

We made it down before the winter sun fully dipped. Still alive.

And now, these bangers Kappa snapped when we got back down.
