For nearly a century, Danner has crafted high-quality boots with purpose and integrity, using the best possible materials. Charles Danner came west to build the best boots loggers had ever known; an effort that resulted in a long-standing heritage brand with a renegade spirit.

Continuing from last week’s multi-brand shoot, our footwear of choice was the Oregan-based boot brand, Danner. For those who’ve shopped with WCH over the years, you’ll have seen Danner has been given the love and support it deserves.

The Cascade Crest Boot combines a modern fit with a heritage design. These winter stompers are made using full-grain leather uppers with a GORE-TEX waterproof and breathable liner, to keep your feet dry and comfortable.

They also feature a removable OrthoLite ECO footbed, with three layers of varying density combined for maximum cushioning and support. The outsole is a Vibram® Traction Lug, which does the job of keeping you upright, providing you’ve had less than 6 helpings of moonshine.

The other pair used in this shoot is an absolute WCH staple – the Bull Run Moc Toe. These boots have been tried and tested by the majority of us, with our opinions being the same.

These boots are an iconic workwear silhouette, with a traditional toe box and metallic eyelets. On the inside, they have a drop-in sock liner with an Ortholite heel, for shock absorption and comfort. The sole is made from a signature Danner wedge which is resistant to oil and slipping and features a grippy tread.

If you don’t own a set of boots, now could be the time to pull the trigger. We’ve just had an absolute dumping of snow here in the Lakes, so my boots have been dusted off and called to action.
