Here we are in December and I think we can all agree it’s now properly cold. Well, at least up North it is anyway. Featuring some of our favourite brands, we took a stroll on a cold and frosty morning and tried our best not to freeze.

The Beams Plus Expedition Down Parka is the perfect piece to prevent freezing. Featuring 800-fill power, it’s ideal for the unpredictable Great British weather. Not only is this beast useful, but it looks amazing too. Based on a 1960s vintage outdoor down jacket, it’s made from a taffeta fabric woven with hollow nylon thread produced in the Hokuriku region.

We teamed this up with a Kestin Dreghorn British Army Fleece. This military-inspired fleece is again, a must-have style for the cold. It features a two-way zip and is made from an Italian virgin wool blend. Lovely. Finishing off this look was the Folk Assembly Pant, which is a relaxed-fitting trouser with a tapered leg and a slightly cropped fit. These bad boys are a lovely fit and are ideal for everyday wear.

For the second look, we opted for the Gramicci Loose Tapered Pants, which need absolutely no introduction at all. These pants have become a staple here at WCH and are worn by pretty much all of us on the regular.

On the upper, we took a Pendleton Made For Japan V-Neck Cardigan, which is a thing of beauty. It’s made from a blend of polyester, nylon, wool and polyurethane and feels amazing in hand.

To finish off, we threw on a FrizmWORKS Jungle Moleskin French Work Jacket, which as you can probably guess, is inspired by French workwear. This chore-style jacket features a three-pocket design, along with a button placket.

If anyone’s still reading at this point, cheers. Time for the useful stuff!
