Born in the Lake District, VÅGA is an innovative sportswear company designing and producing high-performance running hats with the runner in mind. Their original softshell, short peak hat was a running cap designed to be functional on the fells of our home, Cumbria, but has since proved to be a great allrounder, used and loved by many across the world.
Some folk may remember the Cumbria Flag Cap that we did with the good guys at VÅGA Those bad boys sold out quick! Here we are back for round two but this time, with a slightly different aesthetic.
Made using corduroy, this five-panel, flat peak cap is a little less sporty than the first but relays a great message. We tapped into a slogan we’ve used before – one which is close to our hearts and has a powerful meaning; to check up on your mates once in a while. We all have our ups and downs, so staying in touch and chatting with one another really goes a long way.
The guys at VÅGA were more than happy to work with us again to create this collab, which is a left-field approach to their usual athletic silhouettes, but one we’re both buzzing about. The lightweight and low-profile construction feels great on the dome and with the collab branding, it also looks the part too.
