The Latest From Detroit’s Finest

Carhartt first came to light in 1889 when Hamilton Carhart started to produce workwear clothing for the industries in and around Michigan. Mr Hamilton was a businessman and was keen to make a product that stood out from the rest. He even added an extra ‘t’ to the end of his name, which differed from other people with the same surname. The aim of the game was not to produce the cheapest but to produce the best workwear that would outlast others. The WIP range was founded in Europe in 1989 and still has the same aim of being the best gear in the market.

Carhartt WIP has been on our shelves for as long as I can remember. It could even be our longest-serving brand. Not only does this prove how good their gear is, but it also shows how much love the brand has.

For this shoot, we took some of the latest styles up and over Torver Common, while the autumnal rays came crashing down on us like the power of a thousand oceans.

If you didn’t know already, we now stock women’s, so we also brought our Sally along. Sally opted for the Pierce Pant, the pigment-dyed Nelson Sweat, and the Janet Liner, which was the perfect fleece to protect from the winds.
