We’re well into Autumn now – last week saw a pretty radical temperature drop, so much so that we’ve even turned the office radiators on. Only in the morning though, we’re not made of money.

But, in the afternoon we bring out the Penfield.

The American outerwear label have been kicking it since 1975, based in Hudson, Massachusetts, and knocking out some of our favourite pieces of fleecewear.

Their collection also includes a wide range of shirting, insulation and graphic tees, plenty to layer up with.

A clear windy day is the perfect opportunity to test out some outerwear, so that’s what we did. It also ended up being a bountiful harvest.

Mushrooms go great in stews.
