We’ve been working with Icelandic outerwear label 66°North for a good few years now, sweltering in their abundance of Polartec® and GORE-TEX® innovation, and loving it.

Knocking about since 1926, their gear is designed with functionality in mind, supplying professional Search & Rescue teams with some pretty hefty protection from the elements.

They also supply us with overkill jackets, ideal for a leisurely afternoon exploring one of our local beaches, edging onto the Irish Sea.

It’s starting to cool down here, possibly not as cold as Iceland – we’ve heard it’s pretty nippy up that way – but their staple Tindur and Dyngja Down silhouettes provide some proper toasty heat, along with a decent offering of fleece, hats, gloves and bumbags.

And, obviously a balaclava, which the warehouse lads are seriously considering as a winter uniform staple.

It gets cold in there.
