Early October often brings one of our favourite autumnal milestones – Universal Works’ vast array of Liners. Whether you’re into a woolly fleece, some wadded quilts, a gilet or a cardigan, the British staple has you covered with some of their finest midlayers.
The Liners come hand-in-hand with a massive collection of menswear classics, with flannel shirts, pants in your choice of twill or cord, and beanies and scarves for when the wind chill get a little bitey.
The morning of this shoot was proper doom and gloom – charcoal skies – and by coincidence, we’ve never done a Uni Works shoot not in the rain.
We were confident in our outfit choices. The second we touched down at location the sunshine came out. Very warm. Not autumnal at all. 4/10.
