We’ve teamed up with local heroes Fell Brewery to make a beer as a good excuse to have a party at our shop in Ulverston on the 22nd of September.
They asked if we’d like to come along and get involved in the brewing process, so of course we said yes.
Fell has been brewing since 2013 with an environmental, social, and economic ethos to their business so we knew they were the people to go to for our next party beer.
The waste from the brewing process is being picked up by a local farmer to feed to the cows and stray sheep that according to the rumours, is an absolute unit.
A hard day brewing followed by fish, chips, and a sample of some of Fell’s latest creations.
Imogen created an easy-drinking hoppy beer for a lazy day in the sun, hence the name. Lazy Hopper.
Naomi drew up a Kangaroo sipping in the sun to tie it all together.
Australia’s beaches have nothing on the Cumbria’s offering, so we headed to Humphry Head to have a taste test. We got approval from the one and only Bobby Benson.
