Every now and again we get a brand come along who have that little something extra. Well our mates over at WAWWA came with a whole freight train of extra.

What do we mean by ‘extra’? Well, in this case, a more considered approach to production, making gear in small batches with people who care about the end result.

With their own factory and studio in Manchester’s Ancoats district, they employ their own team of seamstresses on a living wage, in an environment where everyone weighs in on the design. The end result? A product which absolutely slaps (as the kids say).

Check out this video to get more of an idea about WAWWA and Manchester’s relationship with manufacturing:

With a selection of men’s and womenswear, curating together some organic tees, recycled denim, surf pants and cargo skirts, hand luggage and headwear, we had everything we needed at our disposal for a leisurely walk over Bigland towards our favourite climbable dangerous structure.

We also came kitted out with some of Salomon’s latest arrivals, such as the chunky ACS Pro, the iconic XT-6 and the Techsonic, in collaboration with Gramicci.

And, there were cows. What a day.
