AW23 New Balance Styles Now Online

If you can wind your minds back to before Christmas, you may have seen the first part of this newsletter, where we focused on Detroit’s finest – Carhartt WIP. This time, we’re focusing on footwear giant, New Balance.

Now that the dust has settled from Christmas and New Year, we’re back again with some ramblings and imagery from one of our favourite footwear brands, New Balance. Much like Carhartt WIP, New Balance doesn’t need an introduction, so I guess I can just skip to some product-based waffle.

The 610 is a new-ish style which just like most New Balance silhouettes, cements itself as a staple in the footwear world. The version we’ve used in the shoot is right out there with its suede and cow fur leather upper. The design is inspired by 2000’s trail running and features C-CAP midsole cushioning that delivers durable support along with a lace-up closure for a secure fit.

The other model used is another 2000-inspired runner, which has absolutely smashed it in the game. This silhouette has been used in a number of amazing collabs including the likes of Aimé Leon Dore, Thisisneverthat, Atmos and Kith. This particular version of the shoe is part of the ‘Protection Pack’ which is made from a panelled blend of leather and mesh and features a padded collar and a TPU heel cage for stability. It also features reflective detailing on both shoes.

Let me take this moment to say that if you’re covering some distance, looking after your feet by investing in something comfortable is a must. Both of these trainers are absolutely ideal for putting the miles in, so get stuck in!

If you’re still reading, I’d like to wish you a happy New Year. If you’re not, tough luck.
