One perk about January, when it isn’t spilling down hailstones, is the low winter sun. Another perk is that the Langdale Pikes are always snowy, so if you don’t have the time or energy to traverse them, at the very least they’re satisfying to look at.

The first Spring delivery from Work In Progress carries some classic bangers, with denim jeans, double knees and cargos, lightweight and heavyweight shirting, Dearborn canvas jackets, and a baker’s dozen of hats, but he’s baking like his life depends on it.
