I’m pretty sure Arc’teryx doesn’t need an introduction, hence the reason why for this shoot, we went a touch left field and decided we’d try some bouldering here in the Lakes.

A few of the WCH team have recently gotten into climbing. ‘The Wall‘ has recently opened in Ulverston, about a 2-minute walk from the office, so thought we’d practice there, before asking Arc’teryx to join us in the Langdales, to do some real-life bouldering on some real-life rocks.

The Langdales is a 45-minute drive from our Ulverston location, so we began the morning at The Wall, to ensure everyone was up to speed, then jumped in the van and spent the afternoon mastering the technique.

The Top Block at the Langdale Boulders is where we set up base camp, and thankfully we were blessed with some golden rays, so the day was a success. It’s pretty cool to get out into the wild and actually do an activity, especially with Arc’teryx, where climbing is woven into their DNA.

Everyone who owns a piece of Arc’teryx knows how good it really is. Their range is huge and covers a vast array of outdoor activities.
