WCH X Parlez
Launching Friday 30th August
WELLL IT’S THE BIG SHOW!
We’re absolutely buzzing to be working with our favourite Bristol-based brand, Parlez Clothing. We’ve been stocking the brand for several years now and our relationship with their team has blossomed into a friendship, which exists outside of the 9-5.
Launched in 2012, Parlez is a menswear brand which strives to create high-quality garments made for everyday life, offering a full range of jersey, cut & sew and accessories.
Our Parlez collection focuses on our home town of Ulverston, Cumbria AKA the party capital of the UK. Ulverston is a market town, located in the North West of England and is the home of Stan Laurel, Working Class Heroes, an endless supply of boozers, great food, live music and more festivals and events than you can shake a stick at. It’s also worth mentioning that the earliest recorded pole vaulting competition in England was held at Ulverston Football and Cricket Club in 1843.
We’re having a launch party in our Ulverston store where music and beers will be provided, so all you have to do is turn up and purchase one of these bad boys. If you can’t make it, enter your email address on the product of choice to be notified when stock goes live.
Friday 30th August, 5pm.
Don’t be late!
Even though it’s literally on our doorstep, we don’t often venture up Hoad Monument for a newsletter shoot, but what better time than now!
Tom was wearing the District Shirt in XL. The District shirt is made from 100% organic brushed cotton and uses the colours of the Cumbrian flag to create a checked pattern. The button-through front features coconut buttons made from the husk’s outer shell, with Parlez branding on each.
Kara went for the Hoad T Shirt in black S. The Hoad tee comes in a super boxy and oversized fit and features a back graphic which showcases topography of the landscape around Hoad Monument, (located right here in Ulverston!) with the Parlez x Working Class Heroes collab logo below.
I was wearing the Hoad Tee in White L, which is the same as above, but in white and also in L. This piece, just like the black tee, features Cumbria’s national flower, the Grass-of-Parnassus, and a quote from British author and fell walker, Alfred Wainwright.
Finishing this off was the Ullswater Cap in black. The Ullswater cap has been constructed with a six-panel design from a durable 100% recycled nylon. It features a curved brim, embroidered eyelets and a plastic adjuster to the rear. It has an all-over topography graphic of Hoad monument, to match the back print of the tee.
