Produced in Japan in the Nara district, a region known for its textile crafts since the 17th century, Japanese artisans still produce pairs of Rototo socks on the original knitting machines from the early 20th century. Their aim is to preserve the tradition inherited from ancestors, whilst painting the future of the major producer of socks with a fresh point of view. With sustainability in mind, the fabric band wrapping on a pair of Rototo socks is designed from fabric waste generated during the toe-knitting process, Rototo encourages its customers to re-use and utilize packaging in any way you can.
