Manastash was established in Seattle, USA in 1993 by Robert Jungmann. His philosophy was to make high quality outdoor materials out of sustainable materials such as hemp, and recycled fleeces. A love of the outdoors and a care for the enviroment come hand in hand. The brand is named after the Manastash Highlands which come down from the Cascade Mountain Range, which offers a selection of outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing and skiing. Robert sold Manastash in 2005, and the company now operates out of Japan, still focusing on Jungmann's ideologies - make good stuff which helps planet earth. Eco-friendly is the only way to go.
