Named after an active stratovolcano in the Ecuadorian region of the Andes, close to where founder Davis Smith grew up in Latin America, Cotopaxi is pretty well rooted in mountains and nature.

That's why the outdoor apparel and equipment label has made its mission this: to produce the best products possible, from sustainable materials, using a poverty fighting business model. An example of this would be the Del Dia collection of bags, all made proudly in the Philippines from repurposed nylon ripstop and canvas, which was saved from a fate of landfills. The colours for each bag were personally chosen by the maker, meaning that no single pack is the same - it's like a fun little surprise when it arrives at your door - but you can bank on it being colourful!
