As you may already know, we’ve spent the last few years working in partnership with 1% For The Planet, donating 1% of all Patagonia revenue towards environmental solutions close to home.
Our work has been specifically in partnership with Cumbria Woodlands, helping them in restoring and maintaining the Lake District’s ancient forests.
Our past work has included exterminating bracken, erecting protective fencing, planting trees and removing diseased trees. Our latest work is helping CW with some coppicing work, trimming down hazel trees to produce both firewood and building materials, and to help the remaining hazel regrow and spread throughout the woodland.
We’re pleased to announce that no one was injured, which frankly is shocking. Our office’s accident book is absolutely chocker from our usual photoshoots, and yet the one time we were trusted to handle sharp tools, we got away scot-free.
