  • Who are we?

    A bit about us

Working Class Heroes was set up in 2006 with a mission to sell select men's street wear from around the globe to the good people of Ulverston, Cumbria. We still hold this close to our hearts but now aim to reach slightly further a field with our website.

We are not a massive corporate site. We are not owned by a group of executive directors that have little contact with customers. We order stock, photograph it, pack it and dispatched it. We are here to deal with your enquiries, feedback and provide you with a personal service ensuring you get the products you want on time every time.

If you call the shop you will speak to myself, Rob or Charlotte. Let us know what you think, the good the bad and the ugly because we care!

  • Key Information!

  • Clean cut jackets and jeans from Carhartt to skate inspired graphic t shirts from Obey and The Hundreds.

Our clothing range at Working Class Heroes has is roots based in skateboarding heritage but also looks slightly further a field mixing in street wear and technical outwear. We focus on the best each company has to offer and therefore as a whole collection can offer some of the best styling and functional clothing there is. If your after denim than there is no need to look much further then the jeans made by Carhartt WIP and Levi. The collections from these guys is clean, simple and straight forward with regular to slim fits in a whole variety of washes. We do not bother about going wild with massive logos and pockets on the pockets. Jeans are kept simple and timeless. These guys can knock out a great jacket too. You can never have too many t-shirts so we source a wide range of men's tops. Notably from Shepard Fairy's skateboard and graffiti inspired Obey. Designe based t-shirts with large front and back prints on a variety of different weight cotton and fits. Other brands from "back in day" that are worth note are the unstoppable Stussy and Dickies. More skate based logo pieces on hoodies, crew neck jumpers and long sleeved t-shirts from The Hundreds and Huf. Casual skate wear for those who know. There are some exciting and relatively new companies out on block that are approaching things from a different angle. Coming from a cafe racer or motorbike scene companies like Deus Ex Machina and Loser Machine are blurring the boundires between surf skate and customised bikes. Deus taking real surf orientated look at the scene, no doubt influence by its work shops in Bali and Australia and Loser Machine with mid 90's puck take on the same thing. This is the tip of the iceberg with regards to our collection. But have click around and see what take you fancy Cleaner and classic looking long sleeve shirts and a resurgence of checks from Penfield and Dickies
