Back in 1939, a man called Jan Antonin Bata began making shoes in a small town in Slovakia. A little niche, but Novesta has now become a staple footwear company in simple fashion, having collaborations with companies such as Universal Works. The shoes are made from a strong vulcanised rubber sole and natural dyed cotton ecru canvases. Still handmade today, these shoes are reliable and good for the environment. Everything we dig here at WCH.
