Flower Mountain was born in 2015 from the friendship between Keisuke Ota from Tokyo and Yang Chao from Beijing, who share a passion for mountain trekking, camping and footwear.

“The rain had just stopped and the sky was still covered in fog. Climbing Mount Fuji, we came upon a large field of blooming Dandelions. At that moment, all the natural elements manifested in front of us, became a clear direction for our brand. Hence the name Flower Mountain and the design that inspired our Dandelion logo.”

Flower Mountain first hit the WCH brand list back in 2020. Since then, we’ve seen an array of colours, materials and silhouettes, along with some ace collaborations with brands such as YMC, Universal Works and very recently, Barbour

The Yamano 3 seems to be the go-to for a lot of Flower Mountain fans, so why not showcase our two favourite colours of the season?!

Tom was in the Yamano 3 Shoes Taupe White Green Cordura in a size 44. Tom’s a UK 10 usually and found these to be spot on for him.

I went for the Yamano 3 Shoes Navy Cream, also in a size 44. Just like Tom, I’m also a UK 10, so this again was spot on.

A quick Flower Mountain size guide is below for those wanting to get involved:

  • 41 – UK 7
  • 42 – UK 7.5
  • 43 – UK 8.5
  • 44 – UK 9.5
  • 45 – UK 10.5
