We’ve read lots of slogans on walls, but it seems we’re somehow blind, because the world is still in a bit of a fix. So given that we’re blind to them, we’re going to repeat those slogans, but we’re going to write them in braille.

My approach is very much a process: A journey of exploration and discovery. Not all journeys end well. Not all pictures make the gallery”. – George Bowden – Blind Truths.

The fourth instalment of our Artist Series, working with Independent creatives to release limited-run tees, comes from George Bowden, an artist who specialises in bold, textured oil paintings.

Two years ago George lost his eyesight to cancer, but didn’t let that get in the way of his work.

His artwork for us, ‘Blind Truth’, is a simple landscape with ‘Love Not War’ braille, alongside ‘Love’ in a puff print to the right chest, and our logo to the left.

The tee will be available from 10am, Friday 26th May.
