Working Class Heroes was set up in 2006 with a mission to sell select men's street wear from around the globe to the good people of Ulverston, Cumbria. We still hold this close to our hearts but now aim to reach slightly further a field with our website.

We are not a massive corporate site. We are not owned by a group of executive directors that have little contact with customers. We order stock, photograph it, pack it and then dispatch it. We are here to deal with your enquiries, feedback and provide you with a personal service ensuring that you get the products you want on time every time.

If you call the shop you will speak to Tom, Rob, Adam or Edd. Let us know what you think, because we care!

Outdoor jackets and shirts from Patagonia

At the age of 14 Patagonia's founder Yvon Chouinard got his first taste of climbing way back in 1953. By 1957 Yvon and a group of climbers from the Palm Springs area upped sticks and went to live in the rock climbing Mecca of Yosemite National Park.

By their own admission Patagonia can not knowingly make a mediocre product, they must strive to push clothing technology and performance as much as possible. Warmer and more light weight primaloft jackets, more effective waterproof and breathable fabrics. This must be done with one eye on the damage we can cause. We only have the one planet to live on. This pushed them to make the best and most environmentally sustainable clothing they can.
