The footwear of choice for our By Parra<\/a> newsletter (a few weeks ago now!) was, you guessed it, Salomon. We’ve been stockists of Salomon<\/a> for a few seasons now and each time we visit the showroom, the collection gets bigger and better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’re probably used to seeing the XT-6, so we decided to showcase two different styles to make you aware of the other amazing silhouettes on offer from the French footwear label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of popularity, the XT-4 is the younger sibling of the XT-6. Both styles are described as ‘Trail Running’ shoes but the XT-6 is basically a newer, slimmer and cleaner version of the XT-4. Both styles have a similar midsole and outer sole construction, meaning the grip is pretty much identical. If you’re struggling to decide between the two silhouettes, it really is down to which you think looks better!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom was wearing a pair of the XT-4’s in Shortbread Bird Of Paradise Black<\/a><\/strong> which is a fabulous colour name. We teamed this up with a pair of Everyday Crew Socks White<\/a><\/strong> which come in a pack of 3 and for only \u00a313, is a steal!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was in the Techsonic Shoes in Black Vanilla Ice<\/a><\/strong>. If anyone remembers the Salomon X Gramicci collab from SS23, this was the silhouette they used. The Techsonic is a sort of sandal\/slip-on\/trainer hybrid. They’re made using mesh uppers and high-quality leather, which together, forms a lightweight and durable build, perfect for the Summer. The heel is adjustable and collapsible, which is perfect for sticking the bins out 3 minutes before they’re collected. The collapsible heel transforms this style from a trainer to a sort of slip-on with immediate effect. To finish off, we used a pair of Everyday Crew Socks in Black<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both of these styles offer something a little different, but they’re both instantly recognisable as Salomon silhouettes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
