We&#8217;ve spent the last few years donating 1% of all our Patagonia revenue towards restoring some of Cumbria&#8217;s ancient woodlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously we&#8217;ve bashed bracken as it puts other flora at risk, put fences up to keep deer out, planted new and diverse trees, and bashed bracken a few more times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our latest update, removing large, old and dead trees to allow the new healthy plants a higher chance of success, with more space to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It took a little bit of hard work, a bit of muscle work &#8211; possibly the manliest we&#8217;ve ever felt, not that that&#8217;s much of an achievement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It all culminated with a bit of produce as well, with the good people at Cumbria Woodlands turning to felled trees into charcoal.
