Working Class Heroes was set up in 2006 with a mission to sell select men's street wear from around the globe to the good people of Ulverston, Cumbria. We still hold this close to our hearts but now aim to reach slightly further a field with our website.

We are not a massive corporate site. We are not owned by a group of executive directors that have little contact with customers. We order stock, photograph it, pack it and then dispatch it. We are here to deal with your enquiries, feedback and provide you with a personal service ensuring that you get the products you want on time every time.

If you call the shop you will speak to Tom, Rob, Adam or Edd. Let us know what you think, because we care!

Over the years Girls skateboards have had some names on their team, not least Eric Koston, Sean Malto and Brian Anderson to name a few. Ever since its conception in 1993 Girl skateboards has had a very strong link with those at the top of the skate game, not least some of its owners and founders Mike Carroll and Rick Howard. Also in the early line up of the company was Megan Baltimore, admin for World Industries she left and joined Girl right from the start. Some say it is how the brand got its name, as she suggested it as an idea and every one though it was funny, Who knows?

Now Girl operates a whole range of brands and distribution in the skate industry including Fourstar Clothing, Chocolate Skateboards and Royal Trucks. The links between the brands are often very blurred and in some way reflected the slightly different attitude skaters have towards life in general.
