2014 holds some quality looking product from the Nike camp, if this new addition to the Koston range doesn't wet your whistle, maybe you’re not the shoe enthusiast you once thought.
Nike have toyed around with the heritage range, between the Skateboard and classic Air Max range in the past, but this time they have gone all out including the unmistakeable Air Bubble, in the mix. Here in the Koston 2 Max, they have taken the classic upper features and style of the SB Koston 2 and fused it with Classic Air Max technology at the heel and Nike Free Technology in the forefoot, producing the ultimate hybrid shoe, perfect for the après skate chills. This sleek black colour way is the perfect balance of stealth and steezy good looks, with the heel patch and bubble details picked out in a dark green. The golf shoe inspired features shine through still, on the upper construction of the Koston 2, while the introduction of the Air Max sole looks to me like it introduces a much more athletic feel to the silhouette of the shoe. The mesh toe, stamped out material on the sides and overall materials and construction mean that this will undoubtedly be a super light weight shoe as well, only adding to the comfort and relaxed nature, which can only be a good thing after a hard day on the board.
These will be winging their way to us in the near future, and don’t fret, they will be out of the crates and onto our shelves before the delivery note has left the clip board so keep your eyes on the site and make sure you don’t miss out on these beauties.
Over and out,
