Isle Skateboards

Isle Skateboards is the brainchild of two of the UK’s finest skateboard ambassadors, Nick Jensen and Paul  Shire. Art lead skateboard company that takes much of is design and direction form the head of Jensen, is providing a nice contrast to “urban weed leaf” styles tipping out of the states.

Clearly the brand is influence by the London scene, but it takes points of reference from the place, the light and reflection and materials used.

Also on the line up is Tom Knox, Chris Jones, Sylvain Tognelli and Jon Nguyen.

Yes the company is producing some great decks but they also have a keen eye on the art of the sport. Their products from the hardware to the videos are as much about the art as they are about the skate.

Here is the video directed by Jenson in collaboration with Dazed Magazine that explores the relationships of reflections whilst street skating in the big smoke.

If you get a chance than follow them on facebook.
