We know, that was rubbish. It’s not even spelt the same.
Our excuse is the long awaited sunshine, that clearly has us overexcited.
Usually, those of us who reside on this oh so polite rock are too familiar with its relentless rainfall and cruel seas.
But Finisterre was born from these waters. Tom Kay – a man with an unhealthy obsession with isobar pressure maps and the sharp Cornish tide, set out taming his environment.
With a proficient understanding of the sea, and Michael Fish by his side, he began crafting cold-water surf wear, for those of us who weren’t blessed with the clear blue waters of the gold coast.
Despite our hostility toward the British coastlines, we secretly embrace the pre-dawn starts and the constantly unstable forecasts, all in favour of absolute innocence, in the sweaty palms of Mother Nature.
Finisterre makes this possible. With its honest approach to design and environmental integrity - the surf and casual wear just works.
Why work with Working Class Heroes if we’re based in the lakes, I hear you ask? You ain’t got no surfable beaches up there!
Maybe so. However, much like the Cornish folk, we know how to cycle the terrain, climb the peaks, and down a pint like the best of them.
