Working Class Heroes was set up in 2006 with a mission to sell select men's street wear from around the globe to the good people of Ulverston, Cumbria. We still hold this close to our hearts but now aim to reach slightly further a field with our website.

We are not a massive corporate site. We are not owned by a group of executive directors that have little contact with customers. We order stock, photograph it, pack it and dispatch it. We are here to deal with your enquiries, feedback and provide you with a personal service ensuring you get the products you want on time every time.

If you call the shop you will speak to Tom, Rob, Adam or Edd. Let us know what you think, because we care!

Carhartt Michigan Shoes Review May 2014

After a long wait Carhartt have finally released the new Michigan shoes so we can all be one step closer to being entirely covered in the brand head to toe. The shoe features a full heavy duty cotton canvas upper with durable additions such as metal eyelets and a reinforced rubber toe cap. The low profile makes them great for both a summer wear, shorts etc, and with jeans or cargos. Vulcanised sole construction gives a slight skate feel and look which works perfectly with the rest of the shoe.
For the addicts out there looking for the heritage in this piece of footwear, we have a woven square logo label at the tongue, Carhartt Union logo pattern at the sole and a heel badge with the script print.
In summary, we like the trainer’s crossover style, with work wear influences and a classic skate shoe profile. It’s also available in a black and white colourway.
Sayōnara,
Rob
