Working Class Heroes was set up in 2006 with a mission to sell select men's street wear from around the globe to the good people of Ulverston, Cumbria. We still hold this close to our hearts but now aim to reach slightly further a field with our website.

We are not a massive corporate site. We are not owned by a group of executive directors that have little contact with customers. We order stock, photograph it, pack it and then dispatch it. We are here to deal with your enquiries, feedback and provide you with a personal service ensuring that you get the products you want on time every time.

If you call the shop you will speak to Tom, Rob, Adam or Edd. Let us know what you think, because we care!

The Onitsuka Tiger Spring 2014 trainers are dropping hot off the press, bringing together classic styling and colourways and drawing from from their historical range from as early as 1949.
Onitsuka first brought out a basketball shoe that more closely resembled a straw sandal, but at the time were the only sports shoe specific company in Japan, and with further, extensive research refined his model by observing the movement of players, a trait which was later to shape the brand.
Onitsuka bought the Tiger brand in 1958 and in 1960 the company took it’s strongest stance into the world of running, Abebe Bikila won the Olympic Marathon in Rom, barefoot, Onitsuka managed to convince Bikila to wear his brand for the Mainichi, Japan marathon, and he won, which in turn lead to a mass of other famous running stars adopting the brand.  Onitsuka tiger have also appeared on Bruce Lee’s feet in numerous films as well as Uma Thurman sporting them in the Kill Bill movies, not many brands can put claim to such strong sporting prowess and cult following in equal part.
