Founded in 1996, Fourstar was a way for two skateboarders, who where tired of wearing brands that they didn't believe in, to give back to skateboarding and the people involved. The two skaters involved in this project you may just have heard of, Eric Koston and Guy Mariano.
Becoming close friends during the filming of Girl's film, Mouse, the pair decided to embark on their fashion journey that would lead them through a path of friendship, family and learning experiences within the industry.
Now, fashion in the 90's was certainly a little different with mesh jerseys and nylon pants, but long after some of the current brands had fizzled or strayed from their roots, Fourstar remained true and always remained relevant to what was most important to all those involved and all those it was intended for, skateboarding and skateboarders.
As expected, Mariano and Koston being influential and respected skaters, they have a very high profile team of riders that continue to carry on the tradition of the brand. The team includes personel for the Girl family and other stand out athletes such as Rick Howard, Brian Anderson, Mark Gonzales and Tony Trujillo to name but a few.
